Boere, on the Cloetespass dirt road there is a farmhouse that looks more like a store than a house, this is past Herbertdale towards van Wyksdorp, about 100kms from Mosselbay.

There is a A100 that the farer said I could have, it is in bad condition, though fenders, etc looks OK.  Engine will also yield a lot of parts, but to drive there just for this.....

I have a 69/70 model that I am building for my daughter , took a bunch of spares in for some parts to be primered before we decided what colour to spray , when I went in to get the parts a few weeks later the guy had sold the business , the new guy threw the spares away , so if you know if anyone with spares on them please let me know

In the days of the 2stroke 50cc, these were victims of circumstances. :ricky: :ricky:

The SS50 through to the CB750 all probably used the same rear brake lever. :eek7:

The UK models had about half the power of local models , of c CG purée I use the term ‘power’ very loosely with these bikes

Those Garelli's and Fantic's, etc. were such attractive machines, but not generally available in SA.

Hodaka is another extremely reliable brand of old.

I had one, yellow, build quality was crap but they were quick, until the Marelli Generator rotor split on the keyway.  ::)

That's a little gem.
Somewhere around the same time Honda produced the S110 Super Benly. I bought a very neat one when I was in standard 8 and rode it all through high school. This was in the early 2000's so the bike was already a classic so to speak.
About ten years later I came across my old bike, but it was an absolute wreck. At least I still have the memories.
