Ek glo dat dit nog die standaard Yamaha verf is, die man by wie ek hom gekoop het, het hom in 1977 gekoop vanaf die 1ste eienaar, en op die vroee fotos wat sy vrou my gewys het, van net na hul die fiets gekry het, is dit dieselfde geel.

Dan, didn't they have a funny little cap on the end of the exhaust pipe, sort of a spark deflector?  :sip:
When is this "Old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

The Suzuki PE range had that too apparantly so that the US Forestry Services could use them in the plantations without causing veld fires.

That is correct, Chris, it was US forestry approved silencers.  It is printed as such on my DT's silencer.

Yamaha and Suzuki both had the Krizman spark arrestors.
