Have a 990 in the shop that won't rev over 4,5k-5krpm. At around 4500rpm the motor just dies. As soon as you close the throttle, the power comes back again. Feels almost like a rev limiter kicking in.
The bike can be ridden as long as you ride it like a granny.
Any ideas where to begin looking?
