Touratech Travel Event
« on: May 30, 2006, 12:27:09 am »
Last weekend Touratech organised their anual Travel Event at their HQ in Germany.
Unfortunately the weather was not great (...well, it's Germany) but it was quite interesting.
One could look around at all the TT gadget, do a factory tour ( no pix unfortunately), chat to the experts and have some fun.
TT guru Herbert Schwarz chatted about trips and equipment, Dakar legend Hubert Auriol presented his "Heroes Legend" project and Charley Borman spoke about his Dakar experience and the film project "Race to Dakar"

Here are some pix that I've taken

1200 GSA

A V-Strom with some TT gear

A TT Desierto

In the showroom

The brand new TT "onboard" computer fitted on a KTM

some more ktm's

And some BM's

I also had a good hard look at that. Looks like the old BMW racing colours...or M conversion colours. Nice

Yeah it does look like the M version colours. There is just something about a white bike that I like, maybe I should of been a spietskop

Thanks Tassos!

Hopefully next weekend I will have one that looks just like this one!!!! Damn, I do like this bike. If it only goes half as good as I like the way it looks, I'll still be happy.  :D

I wonder what TT have planned for it...
