What is the number on the needle, I have one or two needles spare at home, maybe one of them is a match?

For interest sake, how many km's have you done with this needle?

Fredda, its a Mikuni 6f19 ( for the DR650se or alternatively a mikuni 6G5 as found in the Bst 40 used in some of the  lc640 ktm's.
A dynojet needle will also be appreciated! :pot: ;D

The white plastic spacer that rests on the d shelf in the slide has been replaced with several  steel washers so the rotation of the washers as the slide moves around has worn the needle to almost breaking point!

The bike has got 60590 kilos on it and is still in top shape otherwise.(2008 model)

if possible please list the numbers and makes of the other needles as well , because some other needles can be used after being modified as well....

As you can see it's crucial to leave the plastic spacer in place. if you fiddle with a steel washers please put it between the clip and the plastic spacer and make sure to push the plastic spacer firmly against the washer and clip.

It was not me! Po must have thrown the plastic spacer away! ??? or the devil told him to do it!
Some people should not be allowed near tools or machines.......

Ok back to serious things, have you had a look for a spare needle yet?

Yes Woestynhond!

Ok the needle is a Dynojet needle DNO712.

I doubt if it will work, because the kit was for a Kawasaki KFX400. I wanted a dynojet kit for my DRZ400sm and I thought since the engine is the same as the LTZ400 and the LTZ400 is the sam as the KFX400 it should work. Turned out I was wrong, the bike ran like crap. Try to tune it on a dyno, no luck. Once I reverted to the stock needle I was able to set it up perfectly on the dyno.

So it is your call what you want to do?

Wont work but dont worry i have sourced a needle from Suz sa for a whopping 120 randelas! :ricky:

Thanks for the effort though!

Will stick to stock needle for the quad and just fark around with the main and pilot system.......

Got warned about the dynojet kits from a guy that used to tune suzuki race bikes......A/F ratio can be a bugger to get right throughout the rev range....

Geen probleem.

Ek dink ook dit is 'n beter idee om die standaard naald te hou en te speel met die jets.

Het jy sommer vir jou 'n plasiek spacer ook gekry vir die naald?
