Jis, ek het 'n traan in die oog van dankbaarheid vir die water waarmee julle geseen word.  Dit val ook heerlik hier by ons.   :thumleft:

Hi Johan ek is so bly daar is 'n bietjie reŽn daar by julle. Ek is op die oomblik hier by Tergniet hier naby Mosselbaai en dit reŽn ook lekker hier.

Julle ouens bring goeie nuus vanoor 'n wye gebied. Lekker man, lekker! Ek is so bly vir almal wat reŽn kry.

Ek het eers gou 'n paar draaie gaan gooi om die mooi te bekyk. Hier het 18mm van die lekkerste sagte reŽn regdeur die nag geval! Amper nie eens staanwater so lekker het dit ingetrek.

Dis 'n nuwe wÍreld vanoggend hier buite. Alles is weer lus vir die lewe.  VoŽls sing vrolik, die boklammers hol rond en jaag mekaar in die krale, bokramme wil net met mekaar rofstoei.  Niks kan vergelyk met die vreugde van vanoggend nie kÍrels.

@elandsrider: I am very pleased for the Kendrew guys, also Klipplaat. It was really dry there, drier even than here. I wonder if Bie had rain. I'll call him later.

Ek hoop julle ouens wat op toer is, raak so van die modder besmeer vandag.....

'n Buitelandse kuiergas sÍ eendag vir my hy het nog nie mense gekry wat so baie oor die weer gesels en oor reŽn so opgewonde raak soos Suid-Afrikaners nie.

Ek glo dis omdat ons so naby aan die lelik van droogte in ons land lewe. Ons lewe in 'n land wat volgens amptelike beskrywing, semiwoestyn is (450mm jaarlikse reŽnval gemiddeld) . Maar kyk bietjie wat kry ons daarmee reg.

Ek gaan later kiekies pos as ek terug uit die veld is. I'd like to see pix of rain wherever you guys are. Please feel free to post them here

Johan ek is so bly vir julle, n andwoord op julle en ander se gebed in benoudheid!

Dalk n dom vraag en op n ander noot: Hoekom is die skilpad se dop so wit? Ek het dit nog nie gesien nie en tog baie skilpaaie gesien en oues. N plek wat ek sou dink onatuurlik baie skilpad het (miskien oordat daar nie n bedreiging vir hul is) is Jijigga in Suid Oos Ethiopia. Ons het daaglik op hulle afgekom in die seismic velde op die lyne.

Terug na die reen. Jy het ons op n stadium vertel dat sekere velde soms afgebrand moet word (dink n suurgras probleem?) So sal die 'nuwe veld' wat nou uitkruip 'normaal gesond' wees?
