http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=252448.0

Dis 'n naarheid.

:lol8:

Dorslander, Just a quick hello from France.
I haven't looked in on you in a while. I'm happy to see you are in good health and doing well.
Currently, adventure riding in my neck of the woods is not really a big thing. However we do find some interesting spots.. France is one big wine route.
Actually the pic below is taken in Luxembourg. Another big wine route..

Damn!  That is nice to hear from you Derek, thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth.  France is such a beautiful country, I would love to live there in the countryside or even a small village somewhere.  Really.

That your bike?  Very nice, those V4 motors were so smooth and sounded great.  Perfect bike for France.  It's such a civilised country (mostly, if you are out of the big cities and the crap happening there).  Tell us a bit about that Honda man.

Stay in touch please @Airguitar, really good to hear from you again.  And I'm flattered you still look in here every now and again  :) :thumleft:

Ja that's my current ride. The Tiger 800 is still in Jozi and probably will stay there.
I live in a little French town called Sierck-Les-Bains, near to Schengen(Luxembourg,  where the historic agreement was signed)  at the meeting of the three borders of France, Germany and Luxembourg.
Sierck-Les Bains:

That's the Moselle river, a famous wine route. Where the road forks to the right is the street where we live.

I work for a Cargo airline in Luxembourg, about 30 minutes drive away. Every day I leave France, drive to Germany and then Luxembourg. 3 countries, twice daily  :lol8:

The VF750S is a lekker bike and turns heads everywhere. I'm enjoying it but those outdated shocks are no fun. I plan to upgrade the rear shock..

I hope the pics come out OK.

My heart longs for South Africa. I am very homesick, and hold the country up in prayer for the protection of her people from all the evil that is taking place at the moment. I hope to continue reading of your safety and prosperity!
Much love from France.
My rides:
2014 Triumph Tiger 800XC.
Honda VF750S
Boeing 747
