Dankie Bud. Ek het eers parafien gebruik maar die manne sÍ dit beskadig blykbaar die ketting.  Sal diesel nie ook nie?

Ek gebruik dit al jare op my offroad bikes en het nog nie probleme gehad nie. Diesel vreet nie plastiek, gom etc. soos petrol nie.

Kyk hoe mooi aangetree is daai lusernsoldatjies:

I bought bicycle panniers from chainreactioncycles and then found a small black bag to put on the seat too. R300 in total, i then inserted polycarbonate into the backing to make them a bit more rigid!

Very neat idea and at a fraction of the cost of a set of bike panniers.  I think I should arrange a vist to a cycle shop sometime.  :thumleft:

Die naweek gou my lentelam ooie deurgery.  Die Bushlandertjie verbaas my elke keer as ek agter oppie plaas met hom ry.  Dis baie klipperig en dele van my paaie is nogal verspoel met baie los klippe.  Maar hy klouter daar uit soos 'n ribbok  :)

Its in a state of flux. I have been slowly improving it over the past year or 2. I have about 6Ha of smutsfinger, and took about 2t of hay from it this year which I am using now. 1Ha of sericea lezpedeza that I planted last year which is not properly established yet, and 8Ha I am busy preparing for a bit of lucerne, more sericea and smutsfinger. I am leasing from next month my neighbour's weed patch of poplar, khakibos and various other weeds which will take me through the winter in terms of roughage, but for the rest its buying either pellets or lucerne bales. Next year though when the lucerne and sericea is established it should be a lot better.

I'm using meadow lambing lick as a supplement, quite cheap compared to some of the others: http://www.meadow.co.za/Regions/Natal/News/Articles/Article25.htm#26
