Race Dog
This question is more aimed at the dogs that have owned both 640 and 950/990's. I've had a 950, 990, 950SE and now a 990R. Ridden a 640 a few times but only a short distance on tar.
I'm toying with the idea of a 640adv for trips that are 90% + dirt but not enduro type stuff. More slow down, do less mileage per day and stop & smell the roses. I suppose the question really is ... if you could have both a 990r and a 640adv which would be your 1st choice of the 2 for those 90% dirt trips. Don't suggest a 690, too radical for me
