:hello2: I have a Suzuki DL650 which is registered in SA but today sits in Germany - I rode it up 2 years ago. I don't want to ride it back south or ship it back to SA. I want to sell it next summer - after a little ride to Turkey and the Balkans and back to Heidelberg again.
But, I'm looking for advice on how to sell a SA registered bike inside the EU. I think it is impractical to formally import it into the EU - too expensive and complicated. Maybe I could sell it to someone heading down Africa??? But, how could they re-register it in SA for the trip south?
Anyone have any advice on how to go about selling a very nice bike (over 2000 Euros spent on it after the up Africa trip!) with lots of extras while it sits in Europe? ???
