No real issues so far. On the first trip to Palmwag I noticed when we got there that there was some play on the swing arm bearings(that is the swing arm on the sidecar). Had to tighten it again but that was mostly because the locknuts were not tight enough. Have subsequently put some Loctite on it and it seems to be sorted.
I had a leak through the brake cam on the hub but a new set of O-rings got that one solved.
I have fitted tail light, indicators as well as a set of spots on the sidecar but have not got around to connecting it yet. Ditto with a stone guard over the spots.
One thing I will do is raise the mudguard a bit. The suspension is set very soft and sometimes the wheel hits the mudguard slightly when going over rough terrain at speed. Not really a problem but need to get it done.
There are a few smaller things like I have to mount the seat in a different way in order to remove it easily. On most of the trips so far I did not have a passenger and carry mostly everyone's camping gear and beer etc. It would be nice if the seat can be easily and quickly removed for this as it gives a lot more space.
I still need to build a proper luggage compartment behind the seat. At the moment I have just fitted 2 ammo cases on the back. It works but obviously does not look very good in terms of aesthetics.
Other than that I enjoy it immensely. My riding partners sometime complain as I don't care about the sand anymore. The head shakes a bit when you hit it but other than that you just need to maintain speed and momentum. Probably the best thing that has happened to me since I got my first bike back in 1973!
