Roughly 2.5 million vehicles are requested to get tagged.

Each vehicle average R200 per month

Total of R500 million per month collected. Half a billion per month!

6 billion per annum.  :sip:

Happy times for everyone in charge!

Add to that the petrol levy of 13c (or whatever) per litre, and annual licence fees for vehicles, and I suspect we are talking another 50-100 billion per year (very rough estimation)

What's next? ah yes, Cape Town, George, PE, EL, Bloem, Durban.

According to media reports KZN will be first then all other toll concessions plus a few new ones too probably.
It needs to die NOW. :deal:
