I noticed some play in the swingarm's paralever pivot bearing. When gripping the wheel at 3/9 o'clock or 12/6 o'clock and moving it you can hardly see the movement on the wheel itself, but you can feel a definite click as you apply pressure.

This happens while the rear brake is applied too, so it's not the FD bearings (phew!). And also, looking at the paralever pivot point while doing the test you see the minutest amount of movement there.

Question is, is a small amount of play acceptable? Or should there be no play at all? I've never checked it before, so I cannot say if it's always been there or if it is worsening. I've noticed lately the rear feels like it wants to go it's own way, but that could very well be my imagination too.

I'd appreciate any input you guys can give.
