Let me start by saying the forks are sweet ! Best I have had on any bike, they hold a line and makes mince meat of rocks. While my bike is not running I was thinking of changing the oil as I guess it has never been done and the bike is now nearing 7 years. I have found the shop manual for these forks but have always been a bit hesitant working on forks as they have a thousand parts, sometime requiring special tools and is easy to stuff up. Just changing the oil do anyone here have tips or tricks ?

Stock oil seems to be 7.5W and 670cm or 110mm from top with springs removed. Don't think I have ever seen 7.5 weight in the shops.
