I read this rr it seems a bit late...  :3some:

It seems that posts have been deleted which makes this thread a bit of a waste for me, given that it seems there are gaps, which I would have liked to see.

I joined SGB this weekend on the ride, also on a 300, but own a 1200 gs as well.

I agree that the guys who attempted the ride really made good progress! Well done!

I just want to understand why it seems that posts were deleted, the debate is in all probability what made the post, it would be similar to an argument about whether a 990, 1190 or 1200 is the best bike!  We all know the 1200 is best, but the debate is sooo lekker!!! (I am just joking about the 1200, appliction and preference will determine what works best for you as rider.)

May I propose that someone attempts free fall in 2014 on a proper 2 cylinder dual sport bike and we keep the posts and the debate!!! :ricky:

I wont be joining though! Damages will cost too much!

Well done guys, apart from the deleted posts, a very good read!

Put your money where your mouth is!

Hell of a ride. More pics please.

WTF guys complaining about equipment used and pushing and pulling.

What is the best bike for this trip? The one you own.  :deal:

And just because you own a GSA or KTM 950 plus and have the guts to try it, people want to shoot you down.

No guys. The Afrikaner mentality of not allowing your neighbour his spot in the sun does not belong on this forum.  :deal:

What I really do like like many other WD's is photos, and not a link to a RR on another site but right here. That is the only thing that pisses me off and many alike, @#*! Links! If someone is a proud WD then post here on our site

Well done ExploreSA dit lyk my na n epic avontuur, maar ek gaan jou aan daai mod IDR verklaar vir lack of pics. Next time, gebruik n helmet cam dat ek ook kan sien hoe dit daar lyk, want ek dink nie ek gaan daar probeer indonner met my bike nie.
Nogmaals mooi gedaan!  :thumleft:

Sjoe TVB, hoe antwoord ek jou nou?
