Dit was nou n lekker lees.

I too have a greater understanding for Baboons now and a good thing no one came to any harm.

None of my further comment required. Nice RR for sure but the folly of taking a 260kg bike up Baboon's has now been proven without a doubt.

I know the debate shouldnt start all over...but I dont see it as a folly. Maybe if they did not have a support vehicle, but that was not the case.
You accept you are going to have some repair bills, and then have an adventure you will never forget. All good memories come from bad decisions.
I would love to do this, to test my bike and myself to such limits.
I know a plastic is better suited, but thats not an adventure. I wont take a days leave, drive a 1000km and spend all that money to do it on a plastic, but will to have the experience on my big scoot
