Day one started nice with good weather and dry roads!
A HUGE river crossing! (The Pienaars river )
Luckily someone, long long ago, built us a bridge :
Refreshment under the trees ;D It as 33.5°C!
Roads dont get much better than this! Nice long straights with not to many surprises :thumleft:
and the view to the other side:
Another refreshment! Like I said 33.5 :ricky:
We had a nice 600g Tbone with awesome Chilly sauce! (Morgans In Thabazimbi). I dont know what the people here do with their cattlem but the steak is the best up North. :thumleft:
Day one ended with a lot of rain, we had to wait under a carport for it to calm down before we went to our B&B (at the Traffic police parking :ricky: )
Day 2
And because of this the roads were soaked today and slippery like hell in places.
My crash site:
Just to show the mud:
Luckily this was washed of in the rain on our way back to Pretoria
Was a great outing, and great roads! We'll be back!
