This video is of a short trip in the Karoo from Nieu Bethesda to Murraysburg on some awesome dirt roads and tracks and then on to Graaf Reinett via tar.
We passed farms with names like Groen Vallei, Water Kranz and the like. The Karoo is semi desert and normally quite arid but it has seen a lot of rain this season so far as can be seen from the many pools and wash aways on the vid.
We saw 9 tortoises on this ride - all in great condition I am happy to add.
Sidecar Sally was my monkey for some of the way but I had to get out of the driving seat for some time so that she could have a go on the GS too... I made some video...
