Payback for the World Cup "loans"?
« on: January 01, 2014, 04:00:52 pm »
Happy New year boys,

A mate of mine who's over here from the UK said the "world" is watch this whole saga unfold, apparently, the reason for e-Tol's has sweet F*&K-all to do with existing, or NEW roadworks, but it's actually to repay our "loans" we got for building our World Cup Stadiums, and because we're not paying the loans back, (to whoever we got the dosh from), so the money from e-tolls going off-shore is to recoup these loans.

As I said, it's from a mate who came over from the UK, and that's the apparent story behind e-tolls..  :sip:

I don't really give a fook what the story behind the story is, we just have to say FU to Sanral and the ANC - let them figger the shit they caused, out themselves

Scumral has to find R 20 billion they borrowed to "upgrade" the roads for the world cup.
Regardless of whether this is the full excuse for their moronic collection system, I refuse to buy into it. Just watch this house of cards collapse!

Screw them!
Those stadia (?) are white elephants of note.
They could demolish and put something that generates income in their place.
