I've been trying to avoid this thread because last year I became a tad obsessive about the subject - it wasn't good for business!

This year I hope to just be a mildly interested observer and not sit up late int the night waiting for the last guy to make it in again!

Hope Cyril does well on the Yamaha, because it would nice to see a change on the podium.

Guys, i have some bike tyres sponsored by Harold, originally as prizes at the 2013 National bash. With his blessing, these tyres are now available for auction to support our own WD member at the Dakar.

@Rallyerider: Let the #Dakar2014 begin. It’s 3:30am in Rosario, and Brett is up and ready. The first bikes depart at 4:30am.

@Rallyerider: #Dakar2014 Stage 1 - Rosario to San Luis, starts with a 405km liaison, then 180km Special Stage, then another 224km liaison.

@Rallyerider: #Dakar2014 the 405km liaison from Rosario to the start of the Special Stage is expected to take about six hours - 1530 SS start, SA time.
