Electric cars are here, they still have a way to go and I haven't seen a lot of electric trucks yet but I think it's reasonable to say that electric vehicles will play a significant role in the future of road transport.
I wonder, in a world of electric vehicles, how the "people's government" will get their road tax? Add it to battery sales? Incorporate it in licencing fees? Maybe the SANRAL etoll type systems will do it.
