I removed the bulb and it seems to be OK (cant see anything wrong with the filament)

I had this on the 1150, a bad joint in the plug at the back of the light, or can be a broken wire inside the insulation due to flexing at the steering head, often made worse by too many cable ties.

Change die bulb or maybe a loose connection.  Hope it works - does not sound like a major problem.  Of vra vir Dirk daar in die Gaut kantoor om met sy fancy testers te check.
