Have been chilling at Barra lodge near Tofu for the last four days doing a few day trips . The Greek George that I am riding with had a  mishap in Maputo some one drove into him , no serious damage but he got  a nick on his radiator , we repaired it with Q bond and pratleys  but it still leaks , so he has ordered one from acme and we are waiting delivery It could take weeks . I have decided to leave tomorrow and unfortunately cut out Malawi and Zambia . The main reason is that north of here things are getting hectic , renamo is hitting the convoy about twice a week and they are targeting busses so I am not taking the chance I am following my gut feel . So tomorrow I head into Zim via Sango boarder post up to Bulawayo and on to vic falls Caprivi and Namabia solo . It is F..... hot here but having a blast. Still battling with photos but will get it right sooner or later. Thanks again for all the well wishers.

Did you come right with your snorkel mod (Rocky drowned his bike in Maputo in a pothole! :eek7:) after you phoned me? I am surprised there is no one who can repair a small nick in a radiator in Maputo.

Dom we thought we had repaired it , but all I wanted to do was to get out of that kak place much better in the country , I tried to fit a snorkel in but could not get it right with pool pipe , so I have even had to do a u  turn at some pot holes as they are all full of water ...rainy season here and believe me it rains properly .
