Some insight into the Spanish bike market:
Total sales in 2007: 151 310 (scooters excluded) 7,3% up on 2006
DS sales in Dec 07 (total for year in brackets):
BMW R1200GS - 172 (2 385)
Suzuki DL650 V-Strom - 115 (2 635, up from 1 873 in 2006)
BMW F650GS - 106 (1 870, big drop from 2006 - 2353)
Honda XL700 TransAlp - 78 (new)
Kawa KLE650 Versys - 39 (doesn´t feature in Top 30 bikes of 2007 - KLR not available in Spain)
Find it a bit strange that KTM´s 990s don´t feature at all, can´t recall seeing any on the road though. However, two enduro´s (250EXC and 450EXC) made the list.
In street bikes the 600-class is the most popular with the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer leading the pack and total sales.
