Exodus and covenant are up shit creek at the moment, fatastic has been working fantastically, but I am starting to look at moving away from Kodi, its just so damn unstable
Started using Mobdro and Terarrium this weekend, Mobdro is the best streaming app I have used to date,
Kodi is not the problem :thumleft: Its the url's........ not sure if this has been mentioned before.....but I use a thing called real debrid...it basically adds url's to kodi and if you pay for premuim you are almost guaranteed to be buffer free...takes 5 min to open an account and setup in kodi...for R50 a month my wife is as happy as can be :imaposer: no more who's on you-tube being shouted through the house :lol8:

Looks similar to this...also seems like the newer movies have streams quicker :thumleft:

Went past my BIL yesterday,  and he loaded some new software on my h96.
While i was there i decided to install netflix,  then this am past my mom and got the codes for the dstv app.
So,  i have kodi, terrarium,  mobdro,  netflix and dstv.
Nothing like having lots of options.
Very impressed with netflix.

My MyGica is fubar since I upgrade the Android software. Very slow... Time for something new.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

I am tegnologically disabled :lol8:

We do not use the kodi really anymore to unstable and to slow.
We use terrarium which was fine up until a few days ago when i had to upgrade.
2 hrs later again asked to be upgraded everytime the player must be re-installed.
This is freaking irritating.
Anyone with suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Thx guys

it's a little irritating,  but compared to kodi,  a minor detail.

I have a Samsung Smart TV, with Netflix, You Tube, Internet Explorer etc pre-installed.  The Netflix works perfectly.  I want to use the DSTV app as well, but the app does not recognize the TV although the app is downloaded on the TV.   Any suggestions.

had this issue with my box before my BIL loaded a different version of android (nexus is what shows on the screen at startup..
i'm afraid that doing that may be the only option,  and i wouldn't suggest fucking with their software - guarantee issues.

I also bought 2 of those H96 units from Gearbest but they came with a later version android (7.1.2) installed. Damn things came from China and are apparently clones. Friend of mine tried to update his firmware and turned it into a brick. So no DSTV for us. Which defeats the point in my case. I specifically needed something that could stream SS1 and SS2 to keep the in-laws happy. So I'm still paying for DSTV  :xxbah:

Let her pay that R1000 per month herself to see what value she gets for the money she pays.   :deal:  :ricky:

But yes you will need a box per TV unless youre happy with showing the same thing on all tv's at the same time

I'm still running my Raspberry Pi (x2) - they work for me, except for the android apps (mobdro, terrarium, showmax for SWAMBO).

I now got a Chromecast so we can use our tablets/phones to stream the android content.

I went the mibox way , through gearbest, 8 months down the line still happy , just had to buy usb hub to support lan and usb. Running showmax through it and very happy. Glad I got rid of dstv, just not happy with quality I'm getting for sport on mobdro, so I rather watch that on phone and then it doesn't bother me that mutch

Came across this really useful UK browser based website TVCatchup for live TV - around 30UK channels in decent SD quality which runs great on a SA connection. Useful TV guide too.

http://www.tvcatchup.com/

Quest channel is quite cool - lot's of gearhead stuff!
