No there is no live chat room here for no other reason than it just hasn't been done yet....

Maybe we will get to it in the future.

So what bike are you planning on getting? If you haven't ridden a lot, you should definitely go for some lessons, it can be quite an experience travelling in traffic on these roads if you are not comfortable on the bike.

There are quite a few driver training centers around, BMW has an excellent one at Zwartkops Race track in Centurion. Check out

Have had a look at the BMW site,  and will deintely be investing in some of those lessons.  
I learned on a CR250 in '90,  rode it for a year,  and sold it.   Aside from mucking about on other mate's bikes once in a long while that's it.....   Getting a KLR.

Nice DS bike (goes just about anywhere), there are quite a few on the forum. Shark_ZA and KileRSA are experts on those things, if you need any advice on the KLR just ask one of them.

It does become quite busy on this site at times... almost difficult to keep up if you are a forum whore like me. I have the page open in the background the whole day..checking every couple of minutes or so...
