This will be a multi participant ride report. Reason being, between issues on bikes and family commitments, Christmas etc, we all made the trip down together, then scattered in our own directions for the rest of the holidays. Some kept riding, others cried themselves to sleep because they stuck at their in-laws with a broken bike and return trips were scattered and mixed.
Trip planning started like this so we all knew it was going to be an interesting one
Riders and bikes:
GeVarlik, BMW F800GS
Crazyhorse, Triumph 1200 Explorer
Bazinga (aka Batch), Triumph 800XC
Myself, BMW F800GS
And PietSkiet (aka Serpie), BMW 650GS Dakar (you’ll find out later why we had to photoshop this foto of him)
I will only post route details and maybe a little bit extra here and there. I'll leave the bulk of the story telling and such to the rest of the gang
