Now there are going to be a few posts with a bombardment of photos.

It does not really do the ride justice, but it brings back great memories.

You will notice that these chevrons are on extended poles. That is for when you get airborne over the ramp right there.

Eish went there twice in December and did not notice the chevrons !!!!! I was enjoying the ride to much :ricky: and chasing Marc Coma and his water Carrier (Scooterbike)

Traffic jam in Gamkaskloof.

The reverse lights come on, but fortunately, they spot me and stop. I see the arm pointing to the left, so I think that is where they expect me to pass. As I get next to the vehicle, the passenger points down and says something that sounds like snake to me. Not the best place, on the edge of a cliff, on a bike, with very little space, to hear those words. You can imagine my initial reaction.

Thank goodness, that is not what she said. She mentioned to the driver that there was little space or something like that.

We had met the occupants earlier and had a chat with them. My fellow Wilddog had in the interim decided to stay over in Die Hel and when we met these new friends at the bottom of the pass, they were going straight out again, so they agreed to phone "advwannabe's" wife, once they were out of Gamkaskloof, to let her know where he is and that he will phone once we are in a cell phone reception area again.

Met nice people all over. Just amazing how much more and easier people in general find it to approach and talk to dusty adventure bike riders. I experience that all over the place.

Hi Gee.

Thanks. It was a great trip.

Very simple at present, until I have the time to make it tidier, just a key or whistle strap with the coupling attached so that it does not fall off and then Velcro around the handle bar.

Hope the photos help.

Cheers.
