Maybe I am not explaining this correctly, I don't care to compare it to other bikes or the 990, you can't.

The fact is even at R117k for the poverty spec bike, BMW for me, have now crossed the line from being expensive, but I and others can still stomach the high price, to being on the wrong side of senselessly priced for what the intended use and spec for the bike. Some where there is a line you cross when pricing any item, they have reach that line and crossed it.

I honestly think BMW will not sell many of them and the era for them is over, more and more people will buy 800Gs's and the 1200 will just become the next LT.
