After breaking both bones in both forearms in my last fall I wonder whether hand guards are more trouble than they are worth. On my mind today as its raining & my arms are aching like a bugger.
I had them set fairly loosely, so they'd pivot a bit, but still feel they where a contributing factor to the breaks.
I always carried a spare set of levers in my tool bag & wonder whether this might be a safer option.
Or hand guards that are not attached to the end of the bars at the end of the grip ?
What are the thoughts ?
