Road conditions Graaf Reinett to Steytlerville

Afternoon WD's not dirt related but am thinking of doing a briskish road ride to Steytlerville and back this weekend, can anyone provide info on road conditions between Graaf Reinett and Steytlerville.....have been been advised to be careful of Kudu in the late afternoon...any other insight please.

Been a while since I rode that direction but tar is generally good
Kudus are a serious problem in that area and beyond
Not much game fencing along road and worse where it is only one side

Went that way in December and found the road to be in good nick. Like everyone says - careful in the late afternoon. We never saw any Kudus but they are there.
Current KTM 950 Adv, R80G/S x 2, TW200,  DR200 Djebel,, XR500R

Many thanks been there and back on the weekend...the roads are in very good condition...didn't see any kudu either.
