Did 300 kms this morning on mine, with SGB on his 1190 and acouple of other guys!

Only problem we had was one angry farmer with a gun (halgeweer) but SGB mitigated the situation quickly and we were off!

These farmers are quite edgy in the Free State.

Enjoy you bike, I trust you will have many fun filled rides on it!

I agree about the Sovereign part.  Customer service is great.

The rest of your statement is more perception than science, but I am happy that you are happy with your choice.  I also think the LC is a lekker bike.

When the farmer has a shotgun and acts like a stuck boomslang the bike does not matter.  Small misunderstanding. We departed as friends after meeting under conditions where a plaasaanval by the plaasboer was very likely.....

My ass does not burn either.  And the front does not wobble.  Neither on the 1190 or the 1200.  The reasons for riding one or the other are slightly different.  But thats just me.  Its great that you have the right bike and enjoying it.

My mate Mick just picked up an 1190 R after trouble with his 1200 LC (frame broke).  He does mostly off road though.

The frame just broke? No bad drop off or big jump.

I have done 4500km so far and did 1000km to the africa bike week in Margate with my wife (last went  on a bike with me for 20 years ago). Definitely the best bike I've owned! Wife loved being on the back. The esa works like a dream 2 up and we had more than enough space with trax panniers and top box. Mate of mine came with on a loan 1190 as he's one has a blown motor..... I think I got rid of mine at just the right time :lol8:
