If have experienced this since day one--- a noise from FD or drive shaft when riding on uneven roads, you can actually feel it on the footpegs. Almost like a bike with stretched chain and worn sprockets. BMW did a ESA calibration update but only thing that changed was the travel on the rear was restricted and suspension is hard.
The idea I have or how it feels to me is that tension between the FD gears momentarily release and then tension again creating a "backlash" feeling and knocking sound.
Does anyone else experience something like this?
