This is the first pictures posted, that shows the steepness of the Rock.

Do you guys perhaps know what the angle degrees are of that rock?

They have cell phones!

The eco-trail is run out of the lodge down the road.
But maybe its best if people just pay the lodge guys.

At least stop at the shabeen and put some money into the local community.

We paid the shabeen
 ;D ;D ;D
We pay all shabeen's
Except the white lady who did not want to sell us any beer.

We stopped at a little shop where all the okes were leaving with beers.
When we got inside the lady informed us that she does not sell any beer!?!?
She probable did not have a license and was scared if the big white guy's.

A well...Her loss.

Very.
I love the big tank, you can ride forever.
Up the rock that 1st donkey gear makes it nice and easy.
The ground clearance also helps.

When we were standing there and he saw it after taking the photo, Popi said he bets someone will have something to say about the water on the ground.... ;D

I have just confirmed with the 4x4 guys that "the rock" actually belongs to a trust that in turn belongs to the local comity that stays in that area.  Spending some money at the shabeen is a good way of keeping the locals happy.  They won't cut their own income by complaining about bikers.

Yeah, the 4x4 guys are a bunch of tossers who think they own the place, try ride you over in the riverbeds, etc.

n paar maande gelede, elke keer as ons daar ry actually.

They drive straight at you , trying to knock you off the bike.
They think they own the land, and all they have is tribal permission to operate there.

We tend to just steer well clear, can hop out the riverbed at anytime to bypass them.
