Eish Gunda, so glad it was caught in time.  Take it easy, one day at a time.

Badger is he up for visitors?

I'm at a little bit of a loose end as my damn mountain bike threw me off 10 days ago and I broke 3 ribs, collarbone and punctured lung leading to last week in hospital. Could nearly have ended up in Umhlanga with the Gunda Gunda but hauled through to Westville.

Tractor on and please whoever let us know how he's doing and if visiting would be useful or if anything else is needed.  Taken me to some wonderful places has Gunda.

Thanks again for your concerns

Looks like I will be liberated from max security ICU today to min security gen ward, and may even be under house arrest by the end of the weekend.

Two days later than the general plan, but Tues' brain-fart while walking set me back a bit.

But the brain fart is now under controll and moved back to the proper parts in no small measure, and I even managed one small cr4p for mankind.  ::)

Strange thing is that getting back to walking is like day 1 at bike-school -look up -look ahead.

Look down and you fixate and the world goes bedonered.

And Husky. Get better mate. Those leg driven bikes seem far too dangerous. Stick with internal combustion

Pleased to hear you are back on bored and sounding much more chirpy. Careful they don't put you on a pushbike, claiming its "exercise". Dangerous those things - no ATGATT just CYRGAT.

I have just popped in to visit Peter. He was fast asleep so left some reading material and left him to his beauty sleep. The staff told me that he has been up and about a few times, usually to the coffee shop. No surprises there.  He is looking well.
Despite his self admission and those that have endured / suffered Peter's snoring, I'm afraid his attempts were insignificant compared to his roomie
Get well buddy.

Really sorry to have missed you J & G And thanks for the readying stuff. Shoulda woken me?

Tomorrow I go back to cottage/man-cave, and I have to admit I am slightly nervous. I am not supposed to drive or work for six weeks. I have never faced this before

Had  quite a lot of fun the night before the op.
These two nice young guys come to the ward and ask if they can offer a prayer for me.
I say sure. But who we gonna pray to?
Seems they kinda mainstream Christian guys.
So I say I think we better cover all bases  here as  open heart is serious stuff. Why just stop with one when we can include Allah, Ganesha, Woden,Thor, Buddha, Baal, Shiva, Manumanan, and the FSM?
But it seems they don't multi-task, so we just do the handy-holdy thing and we all get the giggles.
Coulda got quite busy in theatre if all dem gods had come along  ;D
