Hit and run! Whodunnit??
« on: March 10, 2014, 09:23:32 am »
This morning on Witkoppen just before William Nicol, a colleague of mine got reaer ended by a Yellow bike with a top box, thats the only description she could give me, perp had no plate, and rode off turning into William Nicol.
If youre reading this you have traumatised a nice young lady and caused some damage to her car, grow some balls, own up, apologize and pay for the damage.

Thanks, I dont expect anyone to own up though, but she just recently got her car back from the Panelbeaters and now this happens, going to cost her another R2500 in excess

Any idea what time it happened? I ride that road everyday and can keep my eyes open.

I drive that road every day and I have a yellow GS - with a top box. But I have never hit anyone  :ricky:
Must be on the look out of random revenge car running me over  :peepwall:

Seriously I have been driving that road daily for a year now and I am the only yellow bike I ever see. You get to know the people that travel in your time slot. What time was the prang?

Around 06:45, I doubt it was a GS, it left yellow paint on the bumper
I have told her not to take it out on other bikers

Any biker hitting a car and making that sort of damage would have fallen

Just sounds unbelievable to me

Paint so low down....a full fairing would be the only possibility...?

So are you saying the car driver is lying?

Last time I connected a car there was much more damage than this and I didn't go down

Not necessarily, remember a little while ago when Welsh almost flattened a car and he didn't fall.
