Well well well,
I Ride that route everyday, either on the BWS or my Grey GS.
Today I saw a yellow Fong Kong scooter at the Main / Witkoppen lights that looked as if it had recently been in an accident.
The front left panel was badly damaged and was held on by packing tape.

I usually wouldn't think twice, but, because it was yellow AND HAD A TOPBOX and it was on the same road as where the accident happened, I took out my phone and took a few stealth shots of the bike.

The numberplate is missing, but a piece of paper was on the plate holder and FGX 817 EC (Eastern Cape) was written.

The guy looked like a sketchy rider, and it had a top box as well as being yellow on the road.

Hope this helps, too many similarities, but also might be coincidence???!!???

Well done! I hope that that is the bliksem that gives us all a bad wrap! Hopefully the SAP can get involved and follow up on
your pics! Get the bugger to pay for damages and sentence him to a cage for the rest of his life!
Mishke, my beautiful daughter - I love you always & forever!

Thanks for this, I will be showing her tomorrow.

I did ask her about it being a scooter and she said she was sure it wasnt, but I think ut happened so fast that she didnt really have time to take notice.

That little thing is definitely at the right height to be the perp though  :thumleft:

I'm not saying kill stupid people, I'm saying, remove the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

The investigation should continue. Just showed a very excited young lady but she says no, she doesnt think its him, she thinks the bike was bigger an the top box was definitely black.
Very nice try though.
Thanks again Whastupwes
