I'm currently commuting from Randfontein to Sandton during off-peak times (05:00 to Sandton and 15:00 back) and my Chrysler Neon 2l burns about 10 litre / 100km
My heart tells me to get a bike, I really miss the feeling of freedom, but my mind says:
- Much more dangerous on a bike (I used to ride a R1200GS and had some close taxi encounters)
- Bike not really that much cheaper? Sure I save on fuel but new tyres every 10k km will perhaps eat into my savings?
- Rain/cold not very cool
What to do...?
