To all the bike snobs out there: Go have a good look at your bike and then catalogue what parts for that brand name are actually made by that brand name. For instance:
The bike is badged BMW, but the engine is made by who? As to the shocks, brakes, rims, fuel injection, frame, seat, gear box etc.
You'll be surprised that about the only thing 'genuine' is the badge - and that was probably made by someone else (not BMW) as well.
