I was rained on severely yesterday and when I wanted to go home a short time later, the key did not want to turn the ignition on.  It did not want to turn inside the ignition. This morning same thing and this is not a problem I encountered previously. However, it slides in and out very easily but does not want to turn. Would rain water do that - this is not the first or the last time I have been in rainstorms so I don't think that could have caused the problem.

It took a few minutes of trying to pull the key slightly out, wiggling it and turning the handlebars (don't think that did the trick) before I could start the bike again.

The handlebars weren't locked - I very seldom do - so any suggestions/advice on a remedy for this.

Thanks in advance
