Hi Learned Gentlemen
I was out on a "test" ride on Eva with Ian B, and after a stop I got back on the bike, started up, smacked it into first gear, let in the clutch, there was the usually clutch clunk, it pulled off fine, pulled the clutch while I dodgy a rock, and then let the clutch in again and the clutch clunked twice and alas was no more. IanB, my mentor and bankruptor, also tried but had no success either.
In the end we fetched her and brought her home. I read up a bit and so far have removed the clutch lever on the gearbox, the rubber boot, piston and bearing. I was hoping the piston was stuck in the forward position, but it wasnt.
The clutch lever had its normal "pull force" until I stripped the lever off the rear of the gearbox.
Please can someone tell me what the hell is going on! What is broken, loose, muct up??
I need to get Eva ready for the annual get together or Ian B will murder me!
