To have a resistance you need to have members..... members who are visably doing something on the street. It's unfortunately not good enough to make the odd post or 'like' on social networks to appease your conscience although this is welcomed.

If/when Tolls come to the Cape we need people to be 'mobilised ready' so consider these  practice runs for when it happens. Don't have regrets that you considered your presence insignificant.....

Be a patriot and come ride!  :thumleft:

It's good that you guys are already voicing your rejection of e-tolls  :thumleft:

I'll be there again!  We're in the hands of thieves and bullies.  We have to stand up together.

I'll come too. What's the speeds like for these protest rides? I need to choose which bike to bring along.

Last time we must have been travelling at about 100 kph.  The first BAT run we crawled along at about 60.

The KLR would manage but the side-stand might be an issue.  The Bajaj might be a bit slow as would the XR250 if the southeaster is blowing.  The KLX would manage fine but might run out of fuel along the way, so I think it best to bring the Suzuki.

It turned out rather well....except for the heat! When the crew arrived at Dukes it was blazing hot....also 400 + bikes...guys & gals peeled off the whole afternoon after supporting the charity :thumleft: The DJ was ok & the band...well it was the youngsters first proper gig & they brought the roof down! Well done guys! :ricky: I think a small but formidable amount was raised for the trike and a victory for BAT.... :deal:
Pics taken early on in the day before the crews pulled in.... :)
