I would love to see a before and after photo. I suspect that it was in fact the Katoom passing the BMW and it only required one wheel to do so! LOL
When in doubt...grab throttle!!!

Sorry Dude, but the KTM rider is just passing the BM rider casually showing him how it's done.

Adventure is not outside man; it is within.

ChrisB, you must be a potential BM rider.... you are helluva slow

This series of photos and photochops and cartoons were done well over a year ago. I will dig up the originals.

Just to embarrass you.

You all know of course that this pic was staged by the journos.
There is no way a 950 can wheelie faster than a 1200 on both wheels.

It was a kind of metaphor to illustrate the magazine's opinion. If a KTM rider thinks he can wheelie past me while I am at top speed he needs to wake from his dream world

Macduff, I miss your posts... please come back more often!

Chris B, the old reference was a reference to you being slow and only bringing this up now... that piccie came out over 2 years ago actually.

There is a guy on OC who reckons he can pop it up on one wheel and take it to redline in 6th. Amazing. I challenged him to his accuracy but some mates piped up backing him. Cant verify it.

But hey who cares.

The Bimmer looks positively WW2 there in comparison to the beauty of the 950... just beautiful   8)

Who cares. Great bikes, both of them. I wish my KTM had some BMW traits. Like the smoothness. Oh wait, the 990 has that, so hey! Problem solved.

Sure. Saw a guy wheely a 1150GS on the DR. All about point of balance according to him. In fact, wheelied the 1150GS, KLR, Dakar, CRF450, and GS650. He could'nt get he TW200 up though!
