Maybe a stupid question:
If I use my Iphone as a GPS - say on the Sowa pan in Botstana where there is no cell reception: will it work?
It seems to download maps as you need them, and I assume this will not happen when you have no cell signal?
Can one buy maps or GPS apps that will solve this issue?
Would you recommend using an Iphone for an extended overland trip?
