Geometry difference between GS LC and GSA LC
« on: April 11, 2014, 01:22:26 pm »
Took a GSA for a test drive and I can stand on it without feeling like I'm going to fall over the handles. So what is the difference?
Checked:
Exact same handlebars
Same frame
For standing the ground clearance should not matter as I'm only touching the handles and pegs

I hear the frames aren't necessarily the same.  There was a pre-GSA LC frame but the most recent '14 GS have that same one as the GSA now.  I understand the ground clearance is 10mm higher even though with the narrower seat at the front it's easier to touch the ground.
