So I go into the garage this morning to get my XR for a nice "relaxing" sunday ride. Smelt some fuel when pulling bike from it's standing spot I then notice some petrol on concrete under bike.
And here is what I found. (See pics)
Whomever fitted this tank didn't make sure that the cooling system hose clamps was not rubbing up against the tank. This could be a expensive mistake by you for me.
Those wanting to fit or having a tank like this be sure to check for similar problems before it is to late.
Has anyone fixed there Acerbis tank with a small hole like this and did it work/last?
PS: I recently bought the bike so did not fit tank.
