The Potch GOC and Nick Yell's Prieska Tour
Semi-jack on:
What's up with the top-box AND SIDE ATTACHMENTS in the Nick Yell story, not regular side panniers, any Dogs have an idea?
(or I could write to Nick, I guess...)
Cheers
Chris
Hi -jack off.

From Sir Pieter:

Hi Donovan

I build them custom to fit my bike, didn't like the big panniers and the fact that they're too low as well, so I designed them. Just enough space to pack the extra goodies, also, I don't like to carry to heavy load. No top-heaviness whatsoever, handles still very good.
Ja, lots of hard and precise work though, didn't yet think of started manufacturing them yet. (Maybe one day)
I'll see if there's a market.

Regards

Pieter van den Berg

Thanks Nick, 2-Stoke, Donovan for relaying the message, and Pieter for providing insight!
Pieter - (via Nick?) - I would like to chat with you if possible; could you PM me your e-mail address or tel number?
Thanks
Chris & Team

I've asked Nick for some details

Hi -jack off.

Nick's reply email:

Hi Donovan

The panniers were custom-made by my mate Pieter van den Bergh for his BMW F800GS. Im going to copy him in on this reply and see if he wants to make their story known.

Kind regards

Nick

Donovan, when will we be able to get this magazine in electronic format?

I buy it every so often, if I could download I would more than likely subscribe.

Eish, all I would suggest is clear the cache on the app if it has the option. Otherwise delete and download the app again.
