The last Madalas I did - my bike spewed all the engine ice all over the place - ended up riding back using energade

KLX450 - no fan at present - tried all the juices - My bike boils easy in the tech stuff - not convinced at all that this 'super' coolant is any better than the normal stuff.

Last time I looked - Full Throtte in beyers and DNA. Wild West, if it still exists, used to stock it.

Me, I'm putting a fan back on - 2-way switch for light or fan - if it boils you gonna have to put water/cooldrink/piss in anyway

but, then again, I ain't doing the roof .................. ever .......................... on any bike

Maybe better of investing in a fan

I think it depends - yes if your bike does not have one it is a good move if you are worried about boiling and presuming your bike has a stator that can run it. Some also prefer a 'boil bottle'. Many with radiator fans also run Evans or Engine Ice (or other non-water based coolant)... including probably close to 100% of the Dakar riders and professional enduro and MX guys. Obviously this coolant is not going to fix a sick bike or KLX's prone to overheating in technical terrain. It is probably a bit like the dino vs synthetic oil debate... ::)
