Hi Keithk

Thanks for the compliments! Using a Canon 350XT. Due to the environment decided to just take one lens and stick to it, no changing as that is where you pick up trouble. Just wrapped it in a towel and gooied it in a normal backpack. I have a Tamrac Expidition 5 but that is too bulky for rough stuff.

Lens used: Canon 70-200 f4L. It is weather-sealed, does not extend when you zoom so it doesn't draw dust in.

Take most biking pics at about 1/250th of a sec in Manual. Where I faarked up that day was that I had forgotten the WB on 'Tungsten'.  Took jpg's so the WB could not be corrected afterward. So had to juggle a bit in Photoshop. Editing was very rushed though due to peer pressure from unnamed forum members......

Nice considering the format you shot in you managed to finish up with some great pics well done. Do you post on outdoor photo at all and under what name.?
ROUTE DIFFICULTY:1 = tar
2 = good gravel /pillion friendly
3 = interspersed with sand, mud, sand , bush / not pillion friendly
4 = lots of sand, technical riding
5 = expert only (we are not worthy, still to meet one)
