OK, decision made. My focus has shifted towards more extreme off-road style riding and I'm selling my 690 to buy a 450/500. It's a 2011 690R (the last one with the full 275mm suspension), with the following additions:
It comes with some spare plastics and mudguard, folding mirrors, a spare KTM Hardparts gel seat (with small fabric tear), and even rim tape, if that's your sort of thing
. It's got pretty new Mitas C23/E09 tyres, and a newish T63 front I'll throw in. Spare key, key-card and manuals.
The bike has under 12,000km and has been impeccably maintained. It's in near perfect condition. I bought it a year ago at 6,000km from a good friend who is extremely pedantic about his bikes and had owned it since new, so I know it's only had the best life. It has always lived in a locked garage and will make a new owner extremely happy. The above list should show that I've done all the detail upgrades that aren't obvious or bling, but make the bike super solid. Please don't add up the cost for me! :snorting:
